Dear Heavenly Father, we lift up the prayers for all the innocent lives and victims that are currently in turmoil over in the Middle East. Praying for our Christian brothers and sisters – for their strength, courage and physical and emotional and mental well-being, safety and protection. Lord, we know that you are the ultimate protector and that all things work according to your will so we just increase our faith and our communication channel with you and lift everything up to your hands, giving you our burdens. Lord, in addition we also pray for those in ISIS – pray for their eyes to be opened and their hearts to soften so they can fully realize the atrocities they are committing and to turn their lives over to Christ. We pray for more pure forms of communication between Christians and Muslims, turning hatred into love and understanding. We pray for your peace which surpasses all understanding and wisdom to know how to respond in this situation. Thank you Lord for sending your son on the cross to die for our sins so that we can have a victorious life. May we live in that triumph from this moment on forever more. Amen!
